Vision statement / Artistic goals: A balance of musical excellence, community service and enjoyment

Choir performs: Both unaccompanied & accompanied

Musical Repertoire: Typically 4- or more part harmony, various styles - early music, folk, religious, madrigals, ballads, Gilbert & Sullivan, African music, modern (but not "pop") music, musical theatre, etc

Musical Director: Dr Robert Bell

Previous musical experience: over 40 years of varied and lengthy choral experience

Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: South Eastern Chorale, Ars Nova, Proteus Ensemble, Beechworth Singers

Audition: Yes - attend weekly for up to a month, then selection by mutual agreement

Examples of musical pieces performed: Barbara Allen (King Singers arrangements), Trois Chansons (Debussy), Macedonian Folk Songs, Sasabona (African), A Comedy Tonight (Sondheim), O Quam Gloriosum, I Bought Me A Cat (Copeland), In These Delightful Pleasant Groves (Purcell), Puttin' On The Ritz, various madrigals, excerpts from musical comedies and operettas, Agnus Dei (Samuel Barber), Christmas carols including Herbert Howells' three carol anthems
