DETAILS ABOUT THE CHOIR

Vision statement / Artistic goals: An ensemble specializing in chamber choral repertoire, Concord Ensemble welcomes singers who are staff and alumni of the University of Melbourne, as well as associated singers by request; the ensemble includes a larger choir of up to thirty members, as well as a chamber choir of 8-12 singers, and frequently collaborates with guest soloists and instrumentalists including string ensembles and continuo

Audition: Yes - Vocal quality, reading ability, no preparation required

Minimum Attendance policy - Rehearsals: Yes Concerts: Prior notice is to be given if not performing in any concert

Membership Fees: $40 per concert

Ability to read music: Essential

Sight-reading ability: Highly desirable
