Vision statement / Artistic goals: To bring the joy of singing to the wider community in many and varied ways; to accept all who wish to sing, regardless of age, gender, ability and religion

Musical Repertoire: Musicals, contemporary, some classical, medleys, gospel, world music, etc

Previous musical experience: Singer/Songwriter, Music Educator/Music Director; Choir conducting experience with different choirs over many years; Bachelor of Music Performance (Jazz/Improvisation); also Music Director of Cadence Choir, Black Rock; previously directed Melbourne Millennium Chorus (Boite); keen interest in world music, chant and indigenous Australian song; enjoys working with community singers, bringing out the best in them through encouragement and fun, boosting their strengths and making harmonious sounds and friendly connections along the way; strong a capella skills; singer jazz and world folk bands with 6 professional recordings

Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: Mosaic; Cadbury ensemble of choirs for Christmas Carols in the city

Membership Fees: $80 per average 10 week term

Ability to read music: Desirable

Sight-reading ability: Desirable

Sample of the Choir's past Concert Venues: Annual performances at Bayside Carols in the Park (Dendy Park); Kingston Town Hall Concerts, Mordialloc Eisteddfod (Kingston Town Hall), West Brighton Club, community functions, Annual Vocally Wild Concert (Brighton Town Hall, St Andrew's Church, Brighton), shopping centres

Examples of musical pieces performed: All types of music from Hallelujah Chorus to ABBA

Touring: Yes - Melbourne Metro Area/Regional Victoria/Interstate/Overseas; the Choir has travelled twice (2012 and 2015) to Northern Italy to sing in an International Choral Festival
