Vision statement / Artistic goals: To sing high quality choral music in and around Geelong and its community, bringing quality performances to any discerning audiences; as of 2022, the choir is now a mixed voice SATB choir

Musical Repertoire: The Choir's repertoire is large and varied, including classical, folk, stage and popular music

Musical Director: Jeanette John

No. of years in current post: since 2015

Previous musical experience: Jeanette was born in Wales, and was immersed in a musical culture; she belonged to choirs, sang solos and duets and studied music in secondary school; as a teacher in Wales, Jeanette led children’s school choirs, and performed in local musical productions; Jeanette emigrated to Australia in 1986 and performed in many musicals; in 1998 Jeanette became the founding musical director of the Geelong Welsh Ladies Choir, taking the choir in three international tours; she has conducted two large singing events, known as Gymafa Ganu - one in Melbourne and one in New Zealand; Jeanette joined the (formerly) International Harvester Male Chorus in 2015, and has enjoyed working with the choir and sharing her years of conducting experience

Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: Joint performance with The Geelong Welsh Ladies Choir and Geelong Harmony Chorus
