Vision statement / Artistic goals: To bring the joy of singing to the wider community in many and varied ways; to accept all who wish to sing, regardless of age, gender, ability and religion

Previous musical experience: Bill holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Colorado at Boulder USA (1975), a Master of Arts, Preliminary (1982) from LaTrobe University majoring in music composition and analysis, and a PhD in Music Education (2006) from Monash University; in the USA Bill studied choral pedagogy, conducting and repertoire, band conducting and wind pedagogy, and orchestral conducting; Bill has had a long and varied career as a performing musician; since arriving in Australia in 1975, he has primarily been a performer of contemporary music and jazz; Bill has also been involved with amateur musical theatre as musical director, and has conducted/directed numerous tertiary, secondary and community-based instrumental and choral ensembles throughout his career
Piano accompanist, Emma Lippa: Born in Moscow, Emma Lippa studied at the Gnesin Institute under the famous artist and teacher, Alexander Jocheles; on graduation, she was employed by the Bolshoi theatre as a ballet accompanist, playing for 28 years for classes and rehearsals of the complete repertoire, becoming Chief Ballet Accompanist and Ballet Master, performing in many gala concerts throughout Russia and overseas, and touring extensively overseas; in 1993, Emma joined the Australian Ballet, and played for classes and rehearsals for over 20 years
Choir's past collaborations with other musical groups: Mosaic; Cadbury ensemble of choirs for Christmas Carols in the city

Touring: Yes - Melbourne Metro Area/Regional Victoria/Interstate/Overseas; the Choir has travelled twice (2012 and 2015) to Northern Italy to sing in an International Choral Festival
